The Miniature Schnauzer is as much at home in the city as in the country. They easily
adapt to change of conditions or climates. Their greatest need is to be loved and part
of a family. Miniature Schnauzers do not shed so they can often be enjoyed by persons
who may be allergic to other breeds. Owners must keep them groomed to maintain
their handsome appearance.
Schnauzers come in a variety of colors: Liver, Liver/Tan, Black/Silver,Salt/Pepper,
Black and Parti Colors mixed with the above. Then there is white. All of these colors
are registerable with AKC, although you do have to prove anything other than the
standard colors of Black, Black/Silver, and Salt/Pepper.
